Donut fenders

Vlad and I went to the beach Sunday, kind of a last-minute trip. We went to visit with Terry and Linda. It's the first time we've seen the house since Hurricane Rita. Kitchen ceiling is messed up, but overall, it's pretty much a relief to see things fairly in order.

Vlad and Terry caught a flounder and a trout, which we gobbled up for dinner.

Vlad and I took the ferry over. I was shooting photos of the gulls and pelicans. He said these big things in the water, which he calls fenders, looked like something from work. So I took a few shots of them just because. Today he discovers his boss worked on them. He asked me to email some photos of them. Then they remind his boss of something and he incorporates it into a new design.

Things work out in strange ways sometimes.
